Entry into motherhood is an explosive burst into a new world of chaos. My installation New Skin is an in-depth exploration into this journey. Documenting the fantastic madness of early motherhood, New Skin exposes my personal experiences whilst resonating with the universal.

Each element of the installation meticulously and poignantly engaged the audience whilst utilising the uniquely domestic backdrop of the listed kitchen quarters at Brighton’s Regency Town House during Brighton Photo Fringe 2016. Above are a series of images from the installation which will give flavour of the entire show. This exhibition was runner-up for the BPF16 Danny Wilson Memorial Award, People’s Choice.

This is an on-going project.
