Peacehaven Poem

Peacehaven Poem

  • On 2nd May 2010

Low rise, high skies

Cookie cut-out streets

Few trees, strong breeze

Whistles its lonesome beat

Cliff top roads front the coast

Edged against the sea

Bungalows stand in orderly rows

Waiting behind waist high walls

Square lawn, birds at dawn

Precisely perched on wires

Polished cars, perfect paths

Sky bright, window tight

Wall against the world
